What is the difference between the standard AcousticMaster panel and the isolation upgrade version?
Standard panel – balanced all-round absorption
Our standard panels are filled with RockSono Rockwool (28 kg/m³). This light but effective stone wool absorbs sound over a wide frequency range and is ideal for reducing reflections, reverberation and disruptive mid-tones. Suitable for studios, offices and living spaces that require balanced acoustics.
Insulation upgrade – focused on low frequencies
The upgrade version contains RockSono Solid Rockwool (45 kg/m³). Thanks to its higher density, this filling offers a more powerful absorption of low tones, which is crucial in spaces where tight bass reproduction and precise acoustics are required, such as mastering rooms, home cinemas and high-end listening rooms.
In summary:
: RockSono Rockwool 28 kg/m³ – for general acoustic damping.
: RockSono Solid Rockwool 45 kg/m³ – for improved bass absorption.
How long does shipping take?

If you want to see what we offer right away, go to our ceiling panels product page.
Do you also sell bass traps?
Yes, we offer bass traps as part of our acoustic solutions. These are designed to absorb low frequencies, effectively reducing standing waves and bass build-up in corners.
View the specifications and available variants on our bass traps product page.
Do you offer discounts for large quantities?
Yes, for larger quantities we offer volume discounts. This applies to both standard panels and custom solutions.

Do you offer installation services?
Yes, we offer professional installation services. This includes an optional pre-check of the dimensions, expert advice on the optimal placement of the panels and a complete installation on site. This ensures correct installation and maximum acoustic performance.
Want to know more about installation in your area? Check out our installation service or contact us.
What are the installation costs?
For our installation service we charge €80 per hour for a team of two. The minimum rate per installation is €80 (equal to one hour of work).
This price includes:
• On-site advice on the optimal placement of the panels
• Careful and safe installation
• Use of professional tools and mounting materials
The final duration depends on the number of panels, the complexity of the space and any custom solutions. Would you like to receive an estimate in advance? Request a price indication based on your space and order.
What type of mounting system do you use for acoustic panels?
We use a fixed mounting system that is suitable for permanent installation on various wall types, such as concrete, stone or plaster. Each panel is supplied with the necessary mounting material, including screws and plugs, so you can get started right away.
For a smooth installation, we recommend the enclosed manual , which provides clear instructions and information on suitable surfaces.
Where should I place my acoustic panels for best results?
Want to improve the acoustics in your space, but don’t know where to start? With the right placement of panels, you can get the most out of your acoustic treatment. Read on to find out how.
1. Understand how sound behaves
Sound waves bounce off hard surfaces like concrete or glass, creating echoes and reverberations. Acoustic panels, made of absorbent materials, reduce these reflections and improve the sound quality in your space.
2. What do you want to achieve?
• Reduce echoes and reverberation
• More clarity and definition in the sound
• Minimize bass build-up
3. Start with the first reflection points
Place panels on the walls and ceiling where the sound from the speakers is reflected first. This prevents distortion and provides a more direct and clear sound.
How do you find these places?
Use the mirror method:
Sit in your listening position and have someone move a mirror along the wall. Where you see the speaker in the mirror, place a panel.
Key points of reflection:
- Side walls: prevents early side reflections
- Ceiling: ceiling panels dampen vertical reflections
- Behind the listening position: reduces reflections from behind
4. Add general wall coverage
Additional wall panels provide a quieter space with less reverberation. This is essential for comfort and intelligibility, especially in larger or hard spaces.
5. Use bass traps in the corners
Low frequencies tend to accumulate in corners. Bass traps absorb these frequencies, resulting in tighter bass and a more balanced soundstage.
Place bass traps in the vertical corners (floor to ceiling) and, where possible, also horizontally near the ceiling.
6. Finally, work in layers
• Start with reflection points
• Expand with general wall coverage
• Optimize with bass absorption in the corners
This way you create a well-balanced space, whether it is a studio, home cinema or office.
